The controller is slated for release on June 8th, while Microsoft’s E3 2015 briefing will be on June 15th,  As news of the controller spread, a Microsoft representative had this to say:

A year ago, upon the original release of the Xbox One, several players experienced issues with the left thumb stick. In some cases, players were not able to click the thumb stick button. Luckily, Microsoft will replace the defective controller for the cost of shipping. Players will just have to wait 3-4 weeks to recieve it.

Hopefully Microsoft will release more information as the date draws closer. Speaking of which, the Microsoft panel will be June 14th -17th with their briefing slated for the 15th at 9:30 a.m. The press conference will be available for viewing on your Xbox, Spike TV, or at the Xbox official site.
