EA’s official Star Wars Twitter account posted a 12-second teaser today showing off a (very) brief glimpse on what we can expect from the reveal.  It was previously revealed that Star Wars: Battlefront will not have any space combat, so Fighter Squadron mode appears to be the game’s alternative.

Many of the game’s maps will have both air and ground combat happening simultaneously, but Fighter Squadron looks to focus entirely on ship to ship engagements.

Coming on the heels of the reveal of Blast Mode, EA looks like they are priming the hype machine in the days leading up to Gamescom on what is, arguably, their most important game release of the year.

Star Wars: Battlefront will release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 17, 2015 amidst a holiday release window that is jam-packed with a ton of highly anticipated titles.  More details are sure to be revealed at Gamescom in the coming days which runs from August 5-9.
